• Anterior segment and Refractive Surgery consultant in eyeCare center- Maadi,
• International Eye Hospital(Ayoon Dawly) and Dar AlOyoun Hospitals Cairo.
• Main fields of expertise: Cataract surgery(children and adult)- Corneal Surgery-Refractive surgery (Laser and non Laser) and oculoplastic surgery.
• One of the first surgeons to introduce modern phacoemulsification in Egypt and Middle East since 1993
• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduates in Kasr Aliny Faculty of medicine since 1994.
• Have given more than 300 hundered courses and hundreds of invited lectures in phacoemulsification in Egypt and All over the world
• Has been an invited speaker in many international courses and meetings all over the world in Africa, Europe, Asia, North and South America.
• Author of the book “Phacoemulsification : A step by step Guide” in 2007 which is the first book in the topic by an Egyptian or Arab Doctor.
• Participated in tens of publications both national and international, Master degree and PhD thesis in Cairo University.
• Past President of the Egyptian Society of Keratoconus and Corneal Transplant
• Member and past board member of the Egyptian Ophthalmological society EOS
